OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITY
The September 30th outreach (Restoration Run and Family Fun Day) that we held at Ellel was a great event! We had about 200 people in attendance at various times through the day, with about 50 of them being volunteers. We collected 200 lbs. of food for Metropolitan Ministries, a local Christian charity. It was such a positive experience that we have decided to do it again next year on Dec 7!

THE HEALING SIGNIFICANCE OF SUKKOT
We are so privileged here at Ellel USA to get to celebrate God’s appointed times and learn more about what they mean and what is their significance to us as Gentile believers. Sukkot, or Feast of Tabernacles, is one really special one of these, as we build temporary dwellings to remember that God is our shelter and provides all we need, just as He cared for the Israelites in the wilderness when He brought them out of Egypt.
This year we had about 36 people come for the weekend as we had teaching about the event and then spent time building shelters and fellowshipping, eating, and worshiping God together. It was a very special and fun weekend!

People said there was a real atmosphere of peace and joy on the land. The weather was wonderful, with no rain but some clouds so the sun was not too intense. Many good connections were made with people in the community, and the people doing the face painting got to have some really good conversations with the kids.
