PRAYERS FOR JOEL AND HIS FAMILY
25 years ago in Cuenca, we began experiencing a special outpouring of God’s Spirit. The church began to double almost every year and within 5 years we grew from around 150 to 1200. Ever since that time we’ve had a steady influx of individuals and families coming to the Lord and being baptized. We were often told that this move of God wouldn’t last forever and we should be prepared for drier seasons. Well, we’ve been blessed and surprised to see that the spiritual rain continues to fall. Just last month we baptized 35 individuals and that’s been happening at a very steady rate ever since the pandemic restrictions were lifted.

Our congregation, Arco Rios, which began with 230 members in September of 2019, had grown to around 480. With joy and rejoicing and a bit of sadness, in April about 150 of our members were sent to the other side of town to open a second congregation. Their attendance immediately went to 220 and now our regular attendance in the two churches is up to more than 600. We are BLESSED and SURPRISED to be experiencing this awesome time of harvest .
